FITNESS REHAB WEEK 5: Yoga, Cycling

YOGA, CYCLING
We've been doing alot of hot yoga over the past month, so we decided to try Monday 5:30pm Integrated Yoga - flowing yoga poses that work to build strength & balance. Both of us definitly thought this was a harder type of yoga :-S and I can feel the soreness settling in. Kirk has started to notice an improvement in his balance from all the yoga classes, and he has improved energy levels during the day. I've started to see some tone in my arms and legs, and definitly feel stronger. I've even been sleeping better, and don't feel as tired in the mornings.We saw a dietician two weeks ago and have slowly been trying to change our eating patterns to help avoid cravings & over eating. It's been hard, but we have started eating whole grain bread and are choosing snacks of apples and granola bars instead of chips & chocolate (well, at least trying too!). TODAY (Tuesday @ 5:30pm) we are going to Crank'd - cycling. I don't even ride a bike outside, so this class should be interesting... Come join us for free @ 5:30!
